IMG_0190Well, it’s not a book.  But it’s a start.  Sometimes, I just think God wants me to speak.  Other times, I KNOW He wants me to be quiet.  Finding that balance is what I strive for.  I am a work in progress.  For some reason, I feel He wants me to blog…about Him.  I said one time, in the wee hours of the morning, no matter what, I would be a witness for Him.  Tonight, I am striving for His way.  So, welcome to my first blog.

He puts so many things on my heart.  Today, it is just about Him.  The fact that I am so grateful for a Savior.  The fact that we all need one.  Some of us know it…others of us resist it.  I am grateful today that I know it.  That fact alone has given me more peace through life than any other fact I know.  And the truth is, no other fact is as important as this one.

Things aren’t always easy…for me, or for most of us.  And well, that’s okay.  We all have a choice on what we want to do with this thing called Life.  We can Live In Fear of Everything or we can Live as If Faith is Everything.  The truth is, I sometimes waiver between the two.  Fear and Faith.  But in the end, I like to think that Faith always prevails.

As I lay by my fireplace tonight, I feel peace…peace that only comes from Him.  My Savior.  The one constant that has always been there.  THE man that taught me all about unconditional love and acceptance.  Just as I love my children unconditionally, He loves me just that way.  I am His child.  I rest in that assurance.  And I am so grateful.

I’m not sure where God will take me on this blog journey.  I just know that I want to live completely in His will.  So, here I am.  Just as my precious son begins a new chapter in his life tomorrow, I, too, want to be brave enough to begin this new blogging chapter.  The truth is, it may not be for anyone else but me…but it really doesn’t matter.  It isn’t about me.  It is all about Him.

So…here’s to just resting in the fact that we all need a Savior.  Jesus tells us as we travel down the Roman Road to salvation, we all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God; the wages for that sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus; while we were still sinners Christ died for us; and if we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, we WILL be saved…EVERYONE WHO CALLS ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED.

And all God’s people said…AMEN.
